T&Cs are in place for transparency. When you book with us you agree to our terms and conditions as the participant.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. Booking Is confirmed upon completion of the booking form AND the payment of an agreed deposit.
1.2. For Bespoke courses, the full balance is due 4 weeks before the course commencement date unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
1.3. Fees cover instruction and specified equipment. You may incur further cost for technical equipment, such as ice axe and crampon hire, or for entry to a climbing wall or gondola.
2. Insurance & Cancellation
2.1. Staff hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
2.2. It is recommended that you purchase personal cancellation, accident and medical insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances. We do not accept responsibility for accommodation or travel costs incurred for a cancelled, adapted or postponed course.
2.3. Should we need to cancel, the participants shall be offered the option of rescheduling or a full refund.
2.4. Participants wishing to cancel up to 4 weeks ahead of the course will be offered a full refund, less a 10% administration fee. After this time, the booking is considered final and no refund shall be offered.
4. Risk & Medical Declaration
4.1. The mountains often pose risk, these risks can be mitigated but never eliminated. All participants are required to adhere to safety advice and information given at all times. We reserve the right to change the location or nature of the activity should we deem it appropriate for the safety of participants and staff. This may, on occasion, mean cancelling or postponing the activity. In any case, the instructors word is final.
4.2. All participants are asked to openly declare pre-existing medical illnesses or injuries ahead of time. This should include mental illness and any additional needs in order for us to best accommodate you.
5. Conditions of Participation
5.1. Participants should utilise and pack according to the provided kit list, not doing so could result in a delay at the start of the day, or in extreme circumstances, an inability of the ill equipped participant to participate.
5.2. Should borrowed kit be lost or damaged due to negligence, we reserve the right to recover the cost of said item, of the current retail value.
5.3. Participants should act in a safe, responsible manner throughout. Any behaviour that compromises the mental or physical safety of the participant or the group will be challenged and could ultimately result in the offending participant being asked to leave the course. We will not cover any cost incurred.
