All courses are based around your needs, whether you’re looking to take your first steps towards accessing the mountains safely, venturing off path and wanting to further develop your navigation skills or you’re keen to explore the mountains in winter.

  • From picking up a map and compass for the first time, to contour interpretation masterclasses and poor visibility navigation.

    All courses are run in a relaxed style with plenty of time to practice and build upon your navigation skills. You can book onto one of our beginner or improvers navigation courses, or get in touch to book a bespoke course and go at your own pace.

    These courses are predominantly based in the Brecon Beacons.

  • The winter mountains can be an amazing environment to journey through, but require advanced skills and knowledge to do so safely. Our winter skills and guided days aim to empower you to get into the mountains in winter.

    Our Winter skills courses will cover everything you need to give you the skills and confidence to explore the British mountains safely when there is snow on the ground, all while journeying through the Scottish highlands.
